About
Who We Are
After professionally counseling for over two decades and seeing the severe disconnect between therapy and medical services in his clients, Aaron knew that there had to be a way to bridge the gap and help more people.
In 2020, Aaron and Heather began dreaming up the possibility of serving the Memphis, Tennessee community with more than just counseling, but a full, holistic health journey. “Whole” to them means truly focusing on an individual’s physical health, mental health, relationships, and spiritual growth. It’s not only important for them to identify the problems, but to help understand where the problems came from and how they can help guide you through the journey of solving them. They knew that a place like this didn’t exist in Memphis…so they decided to create it.
Life Wellness Clinic was birthed from this idea of providing both counseling and medical services to clients where the therapist and the nurse practitioner talk to one another to create a wholistic plan to come closer to a healthier lifestyle.
Aaron and Heather would love to meet you and help you begin your wellness journey today.

Heather Delay, FNP-C
Heather is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 12 years in the healthcare field and experience in a variety of settings, including both pediatrics and adults. She graduated with her bachelor’s of science in nursing (BSN) from the University of Memphis in 2011, and graduated with her master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from the University of Memphis in 2020, earning her family nurse practitioner certification. This is what she has to say about her role at Life Wellness Clinic.
“For many years, it has been a dream of Aaron and I to open our own holistic clinic together. While in private practice, Aaron has seen many clients in therapy who could benefit from medication in addition to psychotherapy, but because there was no provider in the practice, he would have to send those clients back to their primary care provider to get assessed for medication. I’m a family nurse practitioner, and coming from the primary care side, I see how busy PCPs are. While juggling multiple chronic health problems like diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure, on top of acute problems such as pain or a sinus infection, mental health often inadvertently gets pushed to the back burner. This is detrimental to the client because mental health can greatly affect physical health, and vice versa. Both mental and physical health are equally important and play vital roles in our overall well-being. I wanted to evaluate and manage mental health disorders that you would typically bring to your primary care provider, but with more time to do so thoroughly. This spurred the thought that we could integrate our services together, providing holistic, collaborative mental health services under one roof, hence the birth of Life Wellness Clinic.”
Andrea Davis, LPC-MHSP
“Life can be incredibly complicated and challenging leaving individuals feeling helpless and isolated. Often, we learn maladaptive ways of coping these feelings which often leads to living a life of survival, as opposed to a healthy, fulfilling life. My goal for my clients is to achieve ultimate potential through creating balance among physical, mental, and emotional needs. I provide an empathetic, safe, non-judgmental environment to allow personal reflection, healing and growth.
I have substantial experience working with adolescents and adults in the following areas: emotional and behavioral issues, trauma, adoption and foster care issues, grief/loss, learning and developmental disabilities, anger management, family/relational problems, communication and social skills, self-injurious behavior, anxiety and stress management, LGBTQ population, attachment issues, and emerging adult/life transitions.
I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), and The Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (ACRA). In addition to these specific evidenced-based practices, I often utilize CBT and person-centered approaches to treatment.”
